Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking here in 1992 recovered a Palaeolithic flint handaxe fragment and flake; Mesolithic/Neolithic worked flints and a possible Early Saxon cruciform brooch fragment.

Found by [1] at TL 9916 8778:
1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe fragment and 1 flake.
4 Mesolithic and Neolithic flints including 1 blade core and 1 broken blade.
1 ?Early Saxon ?brooch fragment.
Donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.1.40.10).
Information from museum records. Flints probably identified by P. Robins (NCM).
