Summary

A watching brief in 2013 revealed an undated ditch and two undated postholes. Finds from the site included medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds.

Monitoring of excavation of footings for extension.
This revealed an undated ditch and two postholes of uncertain date. Finds from the site included two sherds of medieval pottery, one sherd of late medieval transitional pottery and five sherds of post-medieval pottery. Faunal remains included a pig tusk and an oyster shell, indicative of medieval or post-medieval food waste.
