Summary

A stone mortar was found in 1991 while digging in the garden. The mortar was initially recorded as medieval, but it has been suggested that it is actually a 19th century kitchen mortar.

October 1991. Casual Observation.
A stone mortar was found while digging in the garden at [1] High Street.
The mortar was reported as medieval, but it has been suggested that it is actually a 19th century kitchen mortar.
