Summary

Metal-detecting between 2014 and 2020 recovered a number of prehistoric worked flints, including an Early Neolithic flake, Neolithic scrapers and Neolithic/Bronze Age flakes; Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons; a post-medieval token and a number of other, Late Iron Age/Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; a Roman brooch and copper alloy pin; a ?Roman cast copper alloy ring; a Late Saxon/medieval unidentified lead object; a medieval mount and lead pot mend and medieval/post-medieval buttons.
