Summary

A watching brief in May 2014 revealed four Neolithic to Early Bronze Age worked flints and a single abraded piece of the handle of a medieval jug.

Monitoring of groudworks associated with construction of residential dwelling.
Four examples of prehistoric struck flint (1 chip and 3 flakes) were recovered and suggest Neolithic to Early Bronze Age flintworking in the vicinity. A single fragment from a medieval Grimston-type jug of 13th-14th century date was collected as a residual find.
