Summary

Piling operations, excavations for ground beams, and excavation of mains service trenches for the construction of a new residential building were monitored. Only disturbed mixed modern deposits were encountered and no archaeological finds or features were recorded.

Piling operations, excavations for ground beams, and excavation of mains service trenches for the construction of a new residential building were monitored. The augured piles revealed approximately 0.4m of disturbed mixed modern deposits overlaying subsoil. The excavations for ground beams measured aproximately 0.4m wide by 0.4m deep and the mains services primarily incorporated existing services. All excavations revealed only disturbed mixed modern deposits.
No archaeological finds or features were recorded.
