July-August 2012. Watching Brief.
Piling operations, excavations for ground beams, and excavation of mains service trenches for the construction of a new residential building were monitored. The excavations for ground beams measured aproximately 0.4m wide by 0.4m deep and the mains services primarily incorporated existing services. All excavations revealed only disturbed mixed modern deposits.
No archaeological finds or features were recorded.
