Summary

Metal-detecting between 2014 and 2018 recovered Roman pottery sherds; a Roman coin and a range of other, undated, Middle Iron Age to Roman and Middle/Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include undated casting waste; a Middle Iron Age brooch; a Late Iron Age/Early Roman brooch, harness strap junction, probable strap fitting and vessel mount; Roman brooches, steelyard weights, bracelet fragments, spoon fragments, a finger ring and unidentifed copper alloy object; Middle/Late Saxon hooked tag; medieval and post-medieval dress accessories (including a post-medieval silver strap end); medieval harness pendants, a Limoges enamel mount and unidentifed copper alloy object; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment and silver pin; and post-medieval crotal bells, a sword-belt mount, harness mount and lead weights.
