Summary

No finds or features of archaeological interest were encountered. The soil profile indicates that the area was built up with materials imported to the site from elsewhere, probably in the Victorian period when the row of cottages was built. Any archaeological features may therefore be buried at greater depth than the foundation trenches for the extension.
