Full Description
November 2013 and March 2014. Auger Survey and Watching Brief.
Hand-auger survey and monitoring during the excavation of a new basin.
No archaeologically significant deposits were disturbed during this programme of works. The concrete foundations of the Riverside Hotel, built here in the 1920s, were found to incorporate re-used tram rails.
