Summary

Metal-detecting between 2015 and 2018 recovered medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Late Iron Age/Roman (Roman issue), Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval jettons; post-medieval tokens and a number of other, Early Saxon and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a possible Early Saxon spangle; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval harness pendant, possible pendant and possible lead pilgrim badge; a medieval/post-medieval thimble, mount, copper alloy stud or tack, lead pencil and lead spindle whorl and post-medieval mounts, decorative strap fittings or mounts, crotal bells, lead palm guard and unidentified cast lead object.
