Full Description
March 2015.
A possible medieval moat is visible on S1 and S2. The possible moat is indicated by a series of linear ponds located around a square land parcel which appears to have been wooded on S1. Modern maps and aerial photographs (S3) suggest water remains on three sides of the land parcel. The possible former moat is currently under tree cover, with the exception of the central area.
