Map

May 2013. Geophysical Survey.
A detailed magnetometer survey was carried out over a thin strip of land prior to proposed residential development.
No responses indicative of archaeological features were recorded.
Magnetic anomalies were limited to an intense response indicative of a modern pipe, a small number of weak linear anomalies in the south-east of the field attributed to 19th and 20th century ploughing, and a second possible modern pipe on the south-eastern edge of the investigated area. The larger pipe may be related to the 20th century canning factory (NHER 40096) immediately north of the site.
See report (S1) for further information.
