Summary

The foundations and possible clay floor of a post-medieval building were discovered during ploughing in 1981. This building was previously recorded under NHER 21874.

THIS BUILDING WAS PREVIOUSLY RECORDED UNDER NHER 21874.

November-December 1981. Agricultural work.
Field south of the river, east of the road.
A post-medieval building was discovered during ploughing. A possible yellow clay floor was uncovered measuring 40m x 20m and was associated with post-medieval brick and roof tile. See NHER 21874 for finds recovered from this site.
