Summary

In 2002 a fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey undertaken along the route of a new sewerage pipeline recovered several post-medieval objects. A geophysical survey of this section of the pipeline route identified no potentially archaeologically significant anomalies. Three ditches were observed during a subsequent watching brief, although no dating evidence was recovered.
