November 2012. Watching Brief.
Levelling works and excavation of footings for an extension to an existing dwelling were monitored.
Metal-working debris had previously been recovered from this area (NHER 24262), and an area of Roman metal-working had previously been recorded approximately 150m to the northwest (NHER 24120 and NHER 53908). However, no archaeological features or finds were recorded in the small area observed during these groundworks.
