Summary

One sherd of post-medieval pottery was recovered from the topsoil and three fragments of burnt flint were observed on the ground surface during monitoring of installation of a new discharge main required for sewerage upgrades.

A series of drill pits were excavated under archaeological supervision in order to install a new discharge main required for sewerage upgrades.
One sherd of post-medieval pottery was recovered from the topsoil and three fragments of burnt flint were observed on the surface of the field between drill pits 5 and 6.
