Summary

The site of Turfpool Staunch, a lock/water control structure. Two bricks walls survive, one built into the southern bank of Little Ouse River, the other built into the northern bank.

Two bricks walls. One was built into the southern bank of Little Ouse River. The other was built into the northern bank.
The walls were part of Turfpool Staunch, a lock/water control structure. A similar structure was located about 1.7km downstream (NHER 61028).
