Full Description
March 2013. Rapid Identification Survey. HA 30.
A flint blade, flaked from a multi-platform core. The ridge has been trimmed with brushing flakes. The diffuse bulb suggests it was semi-hard hammer struck (possibly using a sandstone hammer). There is wear or damage on both lateral edges. Probably Neolithic or Bronze Age.
Identified by J. Gibbons (HES).
Found on the ground surface in Zig Zag Covert.
D. Robertson (HES), 17 July 2015.
