Summary

Metal-detecting between 2017 and 2019 recovered a scattered hoard of 25 Late Iron Age coins. These coin are all Icenian silver units that would have been in circulation between c.10 BC and the Roman invasion of AD 43. It is possible that they went into the ground in the early Roman period, perhaps either around the time of the conquest or during the subsequent Boudican revolt of AD 60.
