Summary

Metal-detecting between 2015 and 2024 recovered a Neolithic/Bronze Age flint flake; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval and post-medieval jettons and undated, Late Iron Age/Roman and Middle/Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undatable metalworking debris; a Late Iron Age/Early Roman brooch and elaborate bridle bit; a Roman brooch; a Middle/Late Saxon hooked tag fragment; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval lead weights, an ampulla, harness mount, harness pendnat, book fitting, a casket key and spindle whorl; a medieval/post-medieval ferrule and a post-medieval coin weight, finger ring and mount.
