Summary

Metal-detecting between 2015 and 2017 recovered Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval jettons, post-medieval tokens and a range of other, Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount; Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorls and a lead weight; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; medieval lead pot mends, thimbles, a mount, possible furniture fitting and lead ampulla; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, lead casting waste, a scabbard chape and lead cloth seal and post-medieval crotal bells, a harness mount, possible sword belt fitting, crotal bell, copper alloy trade weight and lead cloth seal.

Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount.
Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorls.
1 medieval coin buckles, a button, thimble and lead ampulla.
1 medieval/post-medieval jetton, copper alloy vessel fragments (including a foot/leg) and lead casting waste (attached to a fragment of Late Medieval and Transitional ware pottery).
3 post-medieval coins, 3 jettons, crotal bells, buckles, a harness mount, ?sword belt fitting and trade weight.
