Summary

Metal-detecting in 2015 and 2024 recovered a scattered Roman coin hoard of 17 silver denarii. The date and condition of the later issues suggest the hoard was deposited at some time during the second half of the 2nd century AD.

Found scattered within a radius of 30m:
Roman coin hoard of 15 silver denarii. Heavy accretion on some coins is consistent with them havbing been packed closely together with other coins over a long period. The date and condition of the later issues suggest the hoard was deposited at some time during the second half of the 2nd century AD.
Information from PAS import.
This hoard was disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2015 T969) and returned to the finder.

2 Roman coins - both silver denarii. These coins are a first addendum to the hoard discovered in 2015, which puts the total for the hoard at 17 coins.
