Summary

At some time prior to May 2005 a number of Palaeolithic primary flint flakes were recovered at an unknown location within the area known as Great Heath.

Found during ploughing on Great Heath (an area of land to the north west of North Elmham park):
6 Palaeolithic flint flakes. Small rolled and stained primary flakes.
Identified by J. J. Wymer.
Information from (S1).
According to (S1) "many flakes" from this area were subsequently seen by Wymer in May 2005.

Wymer also recorded a number of Palaeolithic flint flakes that were found near Thornhill Farm, on the edge of Great Heath. These were probably found around the same time. See NHER 61207 for further details.
