Summary

At an unknown date a Palaeolithic primary flint flake was recovered somewhere along the Wensum Valley. This object was identified at the Norwich Castle Musem in 1989, although it is unclear whether it is now actually part of this museum's collections.

In 1989 a Palaeolithic primary flint flake from the "Wensum Valley" was identified by J. J. Wymer at the Norwich Castle Museum. This flake is described and sketched on (S1). No other provenance information is recorded. It is assumed that this object was found in the museum's collections, although no accession number is listed.
