Summary

Metal-detecting between 2016 and 2023 recovered Roman and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton; post-medieval tokens and a range of other, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman brooch and copper alloy stud; a Roman to medieval lead weight; a medieval buckle, chafing dish fragment and copper alloy seal matrix; a medieval/post-medieval spoon fragment, steelyard weight, lead weight, copper alloy ring and copper alloy vessel fragment and post-medieval buckles, harness mounts, bird feeder, pipe tamper, furniture escutcheon, medallion commemorating the capture of Porto Bello, silver bodkin, silver cufflink and lead alloy button or decorative stud.
