Summary

One of the 'Mile Houses' of the lower reaches of the Broadland rivers, the names of which indicated miles from Great Yarmouth. The dwelling was at one time a licenced premises as well as marshman's house (sometime two houses).

One of the 'Mile Houses' of the lower reaches of the Broadland rivers, the names of which indicated miles from Great Yarmouth. The dwelling was at one time a licenced premises as well as marshman's house (sometime two houses). It was offered for sale by the Internal Drainage Board in 1985 when the new automated electric pumps had been installed to drain the area.
