Summary

Metal-detecting between 2014 and 2022 recovered a Roman pottery sherd; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other, Early Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an Early Bronze Age flat axehead; part of a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead or similar implement; a Roman brooch and pin fragment; a Middle/Late Saxon hooked tag; a Late Saxon harness mount; medieval harness pendants, strap loops, a harness mount and folding strap clasp and a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment.
