Summary

Sporadic metal-detecting between 2000 and 2016 recovered late prehistoric worked flint, including an Early Neolithic scraper, Neolithic retouched flake and Neolithic/Bronze Age scraper; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and Roman and Late Saxon/medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include an arm from a pair of ?Roman tweezers; a Late Saxon/medieval Anglo-Scandinavian mount; medieval lead pot mends, a harness mount, and a buckle; a medieval/post-medieval buckle, copper alloy vessel leg fragment and bird feeder or water trough and post-medieval cloth seals.
