The earthworks of a large, rectangular medieval moat have been preserved within the grounds of Banyard's Hall (NHER 61451, constructed in the 17th century).

January 2006. Field Observaton by the Norfolk Monuments Management Programme.
North and west arms complete. East arm truncated, south arm infilled. Moat wet to east, remainder dry, but water-filled occasionally. Up to approximately 3-4m wide and 2.5-3m deep.
