Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2015 and 2024 recovered Neolithic, Late Neolithic and Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints; Roman, Middle Saxon, Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and a number of other, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman gold finger ring; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval leash swivel; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment and post-medieval harness mounts.

1 Neolithic retouched flint flake.
1 Late Neolithic flint fabricator.
1 Neolithic/Bronze Age retouched flint flake and 1 flake.
1 Roman coin, 1 pottery sherd and a brooch.
1 Middle Saxon pottery sherd.
1 Late Saxon pottery sherd.
2 medieval coins, 7 pottery sherds, 3 buckles, an annular brooch and leash swivel.
Medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel foot and leg fragment.
2 post-medieval coins, 1 jetton, 2 buckles, 2 hooked tags and 2 harness mounts.
