Summary

Fieldwalking in 2003 noted two potentially prehistoric burnt flint scatters, one of which was associated with a number of Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints. Other finds recovered included pottery sherds identified by the finder and Iron Age and medieval.

Identified at Context 1 (finder's Site 1):
?Prehistoric burnt flint scatter.
A number of probable Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints were also recovered at this location including 4 scrapers, 1 scraper fragment, 4 blades, 1 ?core and 1 flake.

Identified at Context 2 (finder's Site 2):
?Prehistoric burnt flint scatter.
No other finds present.

Found at Context 3:
?Prehistoric burnt flints - possibly part of a larger scatter?
1 Iron Age pottery sherd.

Other finds recovered from the area examined included 2 medieval pottery sherds.
