Map

Early 2003. Fieldwalking.
This field is one of several known to have been walked by [1] at some time prior to June 2003. Unfortunately it is not clear exactly what was found. A map produced by the finder [2] suggests that the finds recovered were prehistoric worked flints and what had probably been identified as Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds (if the colour conventions are consistent with those used on maps produced following surveys at other locations). It appears that most, if not all, of these finds were recovered in the eastern corner of the field.
Although the finder produced a list of objects that he had found near Dillington Hall [2] it is likely that this also includes materials from NHER 61645 and NHER 61646.
