Map

November 2016. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A small, square, embanked enclosure, of unknown date and function, is visible as an earthwork on lidar imagery from a survey flown in 2015 (S1). The enclosure is located in an area shown as heathland on historic Ordnance Survey maps (such as S2), and it could feasibly relate to the management of heathland resources, stock management, or warrening: Broomhill Warren is recorded less than 1km to the southeast (NHER 54063). It is very likely that the earthworks still survive.
