Summary

Metal-detecting between 2016 and 2017 recovered a medieval pottery sherd; medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and a range of other, Early Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include Early Saxon brooch; medieval buckles, a spindle whorl, rotary key, buckle, finger ring, strap fitting and lead ampulla; a medieval/post-medieval strap fitting, buckle and copper alloy vessel fragment; and a post-medieval harness mount.
