Map

April 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
Vegetation marks visible on aerial photographs (S1)-(S3) in the vicinity of the Neolithic flint mines at Grimes Graves (NHER 5640) could represent additional areas of contemporary mining. Their interpretation as archaeological features is uncertain, however, and they could equally reflect underlying geological features. The features have been mapped by extent and are visible as several dispersed groups over quite a large area.
