Lower Palaeolithic flint handaxe of asymmetrical plan form with one long main meandering cutting edge, and a stout tip with two parallel tranchet blows to sharpen it, and a shorter, and straighter cutting edge to the other lateral side, truncated by a concave patch of worn pale brown cortex.
This find is part of a museum display at the Museum 4 Watton (Accession No.: M4W170005).
Found in the area of disused Marl pit at the end of Dunnett's close, Ashill. No other information given.
