Summary

The earthworks of an area of probable post-medieval floated water meadows are visible on the 0.5m resolution Lidar data. The main network of carrier channels is depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition map and consequently has not been mapped. The individual drains have also not been mapped individually, rather the blocks or ‘panes’ of drains and beds are mapped by extent. See also NHER 61569 and STN 024 (Suffolk HER) for nearby examples.
