Full Description
February 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
An area of possible cropmarks, including undated ditches and boundaries, are visible on aerial photographs (S1-S5). Although most of the linear cropmarks visible were omitted from the mapping due to suspicion that they relate to non-archaeological features. A series of apparent enclosures visible as low earthwork and/or vegetation marks visible to the east of the sewage works in September 1955 (S4) were not mapped due to them not being visible in June of the same year (S3), suggesting that they relate to recent agricultural activity.
S. Horlock (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 18th February 2017.
