Summary

This three-storey brick and timber-framed building dates to the 16th century but has numberous 19th- and 20th-century alterations. It is unclear how much of the original fabric survives.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Shop. 16th-century with 19th-century and 20th-century alterations. Brick and timber framed, with some render. Pantile roof with lateral stack. Street front has 20th-century wooden shop front, with above a 20th-century casement and above again a four light 19th-century casement."

It is clear from a recent examination of the building that the street frontage has been substantially modified since the listing description was produced. The shop frontage has been bricked up and all of the windows have been replaced.
