NHER 62362 (Building record) - 30 and 32 Calvert Street

Nos 30 and 32 Calvert Street.

18th century. Three storeys, red brick. Pantiles. Moulded eaves cornice. Seven casements with keystones and voussoirs. Two later entrances also with keystones and voussoirs.
This description was transcribed from a 1986 edition of the Department of the Environment Listed Building Register (S1) [1][2]. This building is however not now listed.

1970s or 1980s. Building Survey.
Examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Three-storey block, seven bays wide. Back gutted out for 19th-century factory. Interior inaccessible. The general appearance of the block suggests an early 18th-century date. It seems to be a large town house, originally with a single, central front door and then subdivided at later date. The north-eastern end gable has toothed brickwork and is flint rubble in its lowest section.
