Summary

This three-storey building, now a pair of shops, dates to the late 17th century or early 18th century and was refaced in the 19th century. There are contemporary cellars beneath the block. Listed Grade II.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Former use unknown now two shops. Late 17th century or early 18th century, refaced in the 19th century. Rendered with pseudo half-timbering to right-side. Three storeys. Six second floor windows.
No. 77:- Off-centre door with plain pilasters, flat hood and rectangular fanlight with radial glazing bars.
No. 79:- 20th-century shopfront and door at extreme right with rectangular fanlight. Sash windows throughout with glazing bars and one 3-light casement. Paired bracket cornice beneath parapet. Gablet roof."

April 1979. Building Survey.
Nos 75-79 examined as part of Norwich Survey.
Long three-storey block dating from the 19th century. Later parapet conceals continuous series of narrow gables. No 77 has original façade features, sash frame windows and a fine door, flanked by Doric pilasters. First floor stuccoed. Nos 77 and 79 now have applied external timbering.
Contemporary cellars. Interiors gutted throughout.
