Summary

This two-storey 17th-century red brick building was refaced in the 19th century and subject to various 20th-century alterations and extensions. It has a first floor jetty and a pantile roof.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Former use unknown now office. 17th-century with 19th-century refacing and 20th-century alterations and extensions. Red brick and pantile roof. Two storeys, jetty at first floor. Single bay. 20th-century door to right-side. Sash windows with glazing bars and plain surrounds. Box cornice."

No 5 was renovated as part of the redevelopment of quayside.

May 2020. Minor Amendment to Listing.
The mapped location and name of this record has been corrected.
When Listed in June 1972, this record was located at TG 23274 09005. This incorrectly placed it at 3 Quayside. It has been moved approximately 6m to the W of this point and is now located at TG 23269 09003, 5 Quayside. This record was previously named 3 Quayside, it has been renamed 5 Quayside.
