This building is amongst those listed in thesis (S2), which considers the 13th- to 17th-century buildings of Norwich. It is described as a long 17th-century building, two storeys high plus attic, with a single butt-purlin roof. It is also noted that it had been converted into two 19th-century houses and then altered again in the 20th century for use as a workshop/warehouse. As a result of these changes it is not possible to tell if the axially off-centre and gable-end stacks reflect the 17th-century layout.
