Summary

A small excavation at this site in 2017 identified no archaeologically significant features or deposits. Finds were limited to two medieval pottery sherds.

February 2018. Excavation.
Excavation of site of new residential dwelling.
This work exposed no archaeologically significant features or deposits. A subsoil deposit was present across the site, with two modern drains the only evidence for recent disturbance.
The only finds were two medieval pottery sherds and a small amount of animal bone, all of which were recovered from the subsoil deposit.
