Magnetometer survey of part of large proposed development area.
The only evidence for potentially archaeologically significant remains was a single east-to-west aligned positive linear anomaly.
Two discrete magnetic ‘spikes’ probably indicate the presence of ferrous debris.

Evaluation of proposed development area (Phase 1; Trench 1).
The trench excavated in this field revealed a single undated east-to-west aligned ditch. This feature corresponded with the previously identified geophysical anomaly.

Evaluation of proposed route of Lound to Gorleston Water Pipeline (Trench 1).
The single trench excavated at this location revealed no archaeologically significant features or deposits. There was no trace of any surviving subsurface remains associated with a north-north-east to south-south-west aligned cropmark recorded at this location (NHER 45261).
