Summary

A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a 2015 lidar survey. It is one of numerous possible barrows recorded in the area, and could be part of what appears to be a large, dispersed, Bronze Age round barrow cemetery (NHER 62464). It is, however, rather flat and disc-like, and could instead be a feature relating to a separate phase of activity; for example, a number of small circular enclosures, probably of medieval to post-medieval date and related to warrening, have also been recorded nearby (NHER 61999 and NHER 62003). It is likely to still survive as an earthwork.
