Summary

In 1999 metal-detecting in the vicinity of the Hobland Hall recovered medieval and post-medieval coins and a range of other metal objects including a Middle/Late Saxon disc brooch, a medieval lead seal matrix, a medieval/post-medieval mount, a post-medieval coin weight and lead feeder trough and post-medieval and undated lead weights. It appears that the exact provenance of these objects was not known.
