Summary

Metal-detecting and fieldwalking in 2017 and 2019 recovered a Late Saxon pottery sherd; Roman and Late Saxon coins and a number of other metal objects, including a Late Bronze Age copper alloy awl; a ?Roman possible lid; an Early Saxon to medieval copper alloy strip of uncertain function; a probable Late Saxon Viking-period silver ingot and a medieval/post-medieval buckle.

?Roman copper alloy unidentified object (possibly a lid).
Early Saxon to medieval copper alloy strip of uncertain function.
1 Late Saxon coin, 1 pottery sherd and a probable Viking period silver ingot (consisting of a rectangular bar with one end chopped).
Medieval/post-medieval buckle.
