Summary

Metal-detecting in 2018 recovered a Neolithic to Bronze Age flint scraper; Roman and medieval coins; a medieval/post-medieval jetton and a range of other, Late Iron Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Iron Age/Roman cosmetic pestle; Roman brooch; an Middle/Late Saxon finger ring; a Late Saxon strap end, Anglo-Scandinavian stirrup-strap mount and Scandinavian or Viking pin; medieval buckles, harness pendants, a thimble, and rotary key and a post-medieval finger ring.
