Summary

A small, square or rectilinear enclosure, perhaps of post-medieval date and related to warrening, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015. It is one of a number of similar enclosures recorded across Thetford Warren (NHER 54069), and others are depicted on 19th and 20th century Ordnance Survey maps. A square platform located less than 10m to its south (NHER 62041) may be a contemporary feature. As the lidar survey was flown relatively recently, it is likely that the earthwork still survives.
